From Moab, drive 9 miles north on Highway 191, turn west on Highway 313. Drive 12 miles and then turn right and drive in the short entrance road to the campground. |

The group area has a fire grate, picnic tables and nearby vault toilet. This is a relatively small group site with limited parking and larger vehicles will not fit. The group site does not have water, a dump station or electric hook ups. There is no shade shelter at the Horsethief group site. |

Gusty winds are possible so always secure your tents and camping gear. Ravens, chipmunks and other wildlife frequent the sites; never leave food out. Summer thunderstorms can cause flash flooding and gusty winds; stay aware of current weather. Annual, Senior and Access passes do not apply to group site fees. There are no showers, electricity, dump stations or drinking water at these sites but they are available in the town of Moab.
